SHE HAS ARRIVED!!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this, things here have been a little busy to say the least.
Well last Saturday, the 21st, was a very eventful and hard day for all of us. My water broke that morning and by 2:40pm that afternoon Caitlyn Elizabeth Marlatt was born through an emergency C-Section. She was 8lbs 10oz and 21.5 inches long, she was a big baby!!!

The date is set for Caitlyn's Arrival!!!!

We had another doctors appointment this last Thursday and it was a very exciting one.
First, Caitlyn's heart beat is very strong and healthy, it always makes me smile when the doctor tells us that. Other than that nothing else has changed since the last visit, she has dropped but I'm not dilated any more, so that was kind of a bummer.

The really exciting news we got was that my doctor has set the date to induce me!!!
Since the beginning Caitlyn has always ran a little fat and she is still a chunky little one so my doctor doesn't not want me to go past 41 weeks. Also the longer we keep waiting the more chance i have of getting diabetes, i have had a sugar problem for the last part of this pregnancy but i keep it under control myself pretty well. It better though that we don't push the luck...lol
Ok so the big date(if she decides not to come on her own) is going to March 24!!!!!
Next Thursday will be my 40th week and we will schedule a time for me to go in, it will more likely be between 1am to 4 am, but i will have a scheduled time to go in, no calling to see if they have a bed for me that day which i really like :).

Also, my mom is flying in on the 19th to help us out until the 7th of April and I'm so excited that she might be able to be there with me for the birth. It will make it easier for me and Brian, since she has gone through this herself. Then my Dad is coming at the end of April to help also, which is really exciting since he doesn't fly EVER and he is flying to come see us and his first grandchild.

Well that's what is going on with Caitlyn so far, I will put more info up next week when we get more and then when she decides to join us, I will be putting up a lot of pictures right away so we can show her off the the world!!!!

Caitlyn Update

Well I had another doctor appointment today and I'm sad to say that nothing has changed. I'm still just barely dilated, so we will see within the next week if anything else will change.
Other than that nothing new is going on here.

BSA Fundraiser 2009

Well we had our annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser and it was a HUGE success, plus it was also so much fun!! It is a 2 day event and we set up a huge tent and sell all kinds of yummy foods. This year we sold hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hotdogs, sasaugedogs, nachoe, and many more. The big things this year was that we found someone who made Jambalaya for us and sold it. It was yummy and worked out ok. The really cool part was the right next to us in the road was the parade so we were able to see all the parades those 2 days and it was just a couple of feet down to go and catch some beads. Last year i caught some really cool beads, but this year i thought i would sit out the parades and just watch. Being 9 months and in a crowd catching beads, not the smarest thing to do....lol Well here are the pictures i took, its only 5 but it works.

First Blog Posting

Ok, well we are finally fallowing the crowd and starting a blog. We jsut decided since most of our family and friends live out of state this is going to be the best way to everyone to see all the exciting things we get to do down here in the south (and there are a lot of interesting things down here...lol).
This is also going to be the main spot where we are going to give updates of Caitlyn and future siblings too.
Well to tell you the truth the blog it self has been up for a while i just haven't poseted anyting and one day last week a good friend of mine told me i need to start so here is the first one of many. So this one is for you Whitni.I LOVE YOU!!!!LOL

We are still learning and finguring out all the neat stuff on here so just be patient with us
