2 month Check up

On the 20th of this month Caitlyn had her 2 month checkup,

Weight: 11lbs 1oz (55%)
Height: 22 3/4 in (70%)
Head: 38cm (25%)

These are her measurements and what percentile she's in, the good thing is she is finally where she's suppose to be in her weight and she is a tall baby. Her appointment went well for the most part everything looks good. The only thing that came up was there is something wrong with her hip and on June 4th we are going to go see a Pediatric orthopedic surgeon. So we will see what is going on then. Caitlyn is doing great and doing new things every day. She smiles and laughs all the time and just a few days ago she sat up by her self with no help for a few seconds and lets just say mommy and daddy were sooooooo excited. One of her favorite things to do is stand(with our help of course) and lean forward toward our face and give us kisses. I will get some more pictures of her up as soon as i find the camera....lol

With Brian and I there hasn't been to much going on. Brian has been super busy with scouts and getting another boy his eagle, which makes 3 this year. With me i was released as primary Chorister and right now my only calling is being a mommy to Caitlyn, but I'm hoping soon i will get a less demanding calling back in primary, I love my kids in there and miss them every Sunday.

Grandpa Jim's visit

Grandpa Jim(Denise's Dad) came to visit us and to see his first grandchild. We had a really fun time and Caitlyn took a quick liking to him, when ever she got fussy and grandpa Jim picked her up she was quiet, it was very good to see the bond they got quickly. Grandpa took some pictures with his camera and here they are.

Like daughter, like daddy

7 week update

Today Caitlyn is 7 weeks old and I apologizes for not blogging sooner. Caitlyn has really been doing great, we are on a good sleep schedule and when she is up she is really active, it is so fun. Caitlyn is so much like her daddy it is scary at times, with sleeping she can fall asleep really quickly and she loves to sleep. Do to doctors orders at night she has to be woken up every four hours to eat and she does not like that. She would rather sleep that eat and it can be funny and irritating all at the same time. She wakes up like her daddy to where her arms and legs flail in the air and if you know Brian you know that he does the same thing when he is woken up....lol

From the first day she was born Caitlyn was able to lift her head and move it from side to side and she has always loved to look around. Well that has not changed, in fact she has to look around, if she can't see anything she gets really made until you move her so she can see out. Also she really likes to stand, it is her second favorite thing, the first is us walking her around so she can look around. There have been a few times where she can stand on her own without us holding her. In a way it's sad for me because all i see is that she is going to be walking soon and then she can run from me, but i know we will get to have fun playing around. She has also found her feet and loves looking at her toes and moving them around and also when i play with her toes she gets a kick out of it. In the last couple of weeks she has learned to smile and every day she smiles more and more and we swear that she going to laugh in this next week with the way she smiles and some of the sounds that come out of her mouth, it is very cute.

This next one is of Caitlyn being wiegh, Brian is the best, remebering to take film not just pictures I would not have thought of that.

Now she has the hiccups, which she gets multiple times through out the day...lol
